Re the Einstein puzzle - GO Shosho! I used a couple of tables - one for certainities and one for possiibilities so that I could do it visually.

Thanks for the congratulations. We have picked out names. If its a boy, Azariah. If it's a girl Arella. So far I only have one other child though, Elijah. He is 6 an has been asking for a baby brother or siter since he was 3.

This year has been pretty bad for UCLA Football, but before we go on to Basketball.... there is one last game (that other team. Univerity of Spoiled Children - that looks to be going to the Rose Bowl. UCLA could make it interesting, if they beat them - causing a 3 way tie between them, Oregon & Oregon State (all woud have 7-2 records - however:
USC beat Oregon, Oregon beat OSU & OSU beat USC).

Any season is a good season when UCLA beats SC.

Hi Sharon! I'm slowly catching up on Sudoku after our long trip. Just now had a look through your SF pictures - fun to reminisce. I'm sorry Rob used you as a leaning post - I'm sure you realized quickly what a joker he is! He's a good photographer, though, so I must get busy & post some of his SF photos. Thanks for leaving a birthday greeting on my page on Dec. 4. I had a wonderful day which began when we watched the sun rise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia - unforgettable! I have posted only one picture of our trip on my page so far, but I will try to whittle down the thousands of pictures we took to just our favorites & post them on Flickr as soon as I can find time. Meanwhile, Rob & I would like to wish you & your family a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. I'm so sorry about the problems with your Mom, but hope she'll remain stable for awhile now. We're going Up-the-River for the weekend, then back here Sunday or Monday; off to Wagga Wagga on Tuesday for Christmas with P's family. Back here Boxing Day, then Up-the-River again till after New Year! So I'll catch up with you next year! Here are some Aussies to carol for you!

You know Shosho, I would so love to meet you! Wish I could get you in a suit case!! I will be meeting a Los Angeles family today! Husband, wife & 4year old. They've done a house swap with some friends of mine from this street & I have to hand over the house & car keys to them! They've been in Australia for a little while, just went to Queensland first (saving the best for last - but don't tell any of the Queenslanders that!!). My neighbours are staying in their house at Venice Beach. They left Sydney on Monday! Maybe you could sneak into their luggage when they come back; they get home on the 23rd Jan!! I've got a spare Queen size bed here & in the river house!
