I was aware that Wombats aren't all "cute and cuddly." Appearances can be deceiving. Perhaps stupid is just single minded. Walk through the fence, pulling the posts down ... strong and stubborn. I know a lot of folks see them as destructive pests.
As usual, good advice. I seem to be having a very hard time making myself "get started." When I do, I know I'll have success.
I'm so glad I made the effort to meet you. It was well worth the 10 hours of driving it took to get there and back.

Dino - I am an ABC chick too. Fascinating show tonight....I'm a frustrated chucker
....have a houseful of junk that I just don't seem to get the time to sort and throw out. [I have a serious problem to be perfectly honest...]
I believe that to have a clear mind you need to have 'clear' [ie uncluttered] surroundings....
Let me know when you have found the solution!
Ciao for now.

Dear Dino,
Thank you for that peaceful interlude. Just got back having to commit my mom to a nursing home. I suspect she had a stoke because the left half of her face drags lower than her right side and she is stumbling and can barely hold a spoon. But she is in a place where the personnel speak Japanese and she will have old friends who were committed before her.

Thanks Dino for the you tube. i thought the gannet might have been blown down by our recent winds. After I commented I noticed the date of upload which was before these winds. I guess it was just his time to move on to another life.

Dear Dino,
Thank you for your support while I have been ill. I never expected such a response from this site, everyone’s concern and caring has overwhelmed me. I can only say that it is the genuine people here who make this a very unique place to share our hopes, dreams, ups and downs. So thank you for being there.

You are very kind. My eldest daughter lives about 20 blocks from me, and although she works, Mervyns has a policy that allows her to come to me if I need her. The Mervyn's offices are about 25 blocks from me. Then there is a neighbor across the street who excepts me to come calling at least three days a week. If I don't she gets her keys and comes to me. I have dinner with at least one child every week, and swimming at least once a week. I had my stroke five years ago when my husband was ill, and of course now I have arthritides. Some days I can walk around, but if I overdue the walking or sitting than my doctor says up to but not more than 4 codine tablets.

Hi Dino. I think I've missed more than I thought lately! Death! Twins! Falling down stairs! Black eye/s! That's 3 mishaps & a double blessing (as long as you're not the mother!). I learned about multiple births the easy way - my sister had twins, then I did midwifery training, some nights I had 8-10 babies crying at once! But what about the rest??! I hope things start improving very quickly from now on!

Thanks for the Tim Winton You tube. I've read quite a few of his books & really enjoyed them, although a couple of them have hit the dark side! I've enjoyed bits of "Lockie Lennard on TV when I happen to be in the kitchen at the right time & have remembered it's on!

PS. My husband's on his way to Vancouver for work but had to go to China via Hongkong on the way. He had a valid visa but the Boarder guards weren't happy to let him in because he had 2 Nepal visits in his passport! They did let him go after a long wait. His partner (business) also had problems because he'd been to Dubai for work! Hopefully they're both winging their way to Vancouver now!

Hi Dino. That was a great jigsaw today. I saw the dot & wondered what it was all the time I was doing the puzzle, till I got it into position & then realised it was a boat! It looks like a wonderful place to visit. I've added it to my list!

Hi Dino. It was good to see you posting yesterday. I'm sorry to hear that you had a kidney stone problem (they are very painful) but I'm happy for you that it was resolved. I'm also pleased to see that Ecie is making positive progress. Take care and stay smiling!
