Dino, so sorry I haven't dropped in earlier. From comments here and there, I (too late) deduced you had health woes, and now I see what your diagnosis revealed. Please know you are in my warmest thoughts and I'm praying you will get the treatment you need.

Hi Dino - I was visiting someone else's page and saw a note about your illness. Just thought I'd drop in to say "hope you feel better soon".
I loved the choir song - my son used to be in a choir when he was a LOT smaller. They look so angelic when they sing - a pity it doesn't last! ;)
Take care, I hope your condition improves quickly. :)

Dino, here's a big . Hope you can relax a bit. I know it's difficult when prodded and poked and worries crowd in, but picture me doing clownish acts and playing peek-a-boo with you!

Of course, my will last a lifetime!!! You just be sure to get well and be well, cuz I'm coming to visit you in four years! We'll play a game of fetch with Merlin and quietly enjoy the beauty of your homeland! Must remember to bring high class tea! There's company here that specializes in heavenly teas. Their blend of herbs truly enhances the tea experience!

Hi dino, all the best for your hospital procedure. I confess that I was so busy worrying about my own ailments that I didn't pay proper attention to the needs of others. Please let me know how you get on.

Hey Sweetheart! Heard word that you might be getting released (sounds like prison - hehehe!) today and wanted to drop a note by to tell you how much you were missed. Hope all those tests helped them get you treated.
Looking forward to finding you back on the pages!
Hugs

I was becoming a little concerned at the length of your hospital stay.... But now, what wonderful diagnoses! Do you still feel lighter than air? I'll bet Merlin did a happy dog circle dance when he saw you. I could do a little jig for you, too, but I'm not going to wiggle uncontrollably -- jiggle, yes, but wiggle, no. Glad you're home.

Dino -
I just did Merlin's "Got my eye on you" photo and enjoyed it thoroughly! What a clever and challenging photo! I have admired your various photos in general, and wish to thank you for your time in submitting them (liked Grace and Merlin a lot today).

Just nosey, I guess - what exactly is TKR? I trust all is well with you now, yes? That was a year ago or more, so I hope you are fine and will keep using your great "photo eye" for our entertainment!

Dino, I read that you had taken another tumble and bruised your spine. I hope it is mending well. Don't let it set you back too far.
It is a shame your are still having troubles with your eyes as I miss seeing you around.
Take care and know you are in my thoughts.

Dino, dear, I do hope you're mending properly. I was so sorry to hear of your latest mishap.

Thanks so much for your concern about my brother. Sadly, he has elected to forego treatment for his esophageal cancer. It is particularly upsetting to me since I tracked down two people whose history (medical and personal) mirrors my brother's. They both underwent radiation/chemo therapy, then surgery, and both are cancer free (one for more than 5 years). But it's my brother's life, and all I can do now is support his decision and provide what comfort I can to his wife and to his daughters (all three of whom are married and have lovely families of their own). Life, as they say, goes on.

Dino, it was good to see you back in the pages, and I'm glad you have a workable solution to the double vision. I have line-less bifocals, and if you catch them in the sun just right you can see the progression of tiny lines in them, much like the fly's eyes you described. It took three pairs of specs to get rid of the double vision for a friend after cataract surgery. Hopefully your optometrist can do the same for you. Again, glad to see you back.

Hi, beautiful dino and Merlin. So glad you stopped in to see us. Did we ever think we'd stoop to having fun with wheelchairs, my friend? Well, my life is blessed and always has been -- I can't even begin to count all the ways.
How are you doing? Any improvement with your vision challenges? Hope so! Oh, and love the new pic at the top of your page -- gorgeous! Take good care of yourselves! Judy

Wow, Dino, I can hardly believe Ecie survived that wreck -- what a fighter! She has certainly been through the dark night of the soul and out again!
I was having quite a time of depression and a bit of physical pain the other night -- nothing like Ecie has been through. But, anyway, I wanted to share these these words I recalled. They are by Lady Julian of Norwich, "all will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well..." It served as a good mantra. Thanks for your thoughts and notes, dear dino! And, Ecie
