Hey Rola, I completely forgot about my page and today I found a whole pile of unanswered posts!!! Sorry!! yes I saw the poffertjes...I love them with butter and icing sugar. There was a dutch coffee shop in Garden City where I used to sake my cravings but alas no more. My sister was so desperate she bought a poffertjes pan and makes her own.I'm not THAT desperate..yet!!

Rola, thanks for stopping by my page. I loved visiting Monterey and would love to live on the beach someday. But I don't think I could handle all of the crazy drivers in California. Hello Rola - thanks for asking. I'd like to say that I'm feeling better but I don't. I've started on some antibiotics so I'll see how I go. I think as the day goes on and I'm up and about, I will feel better. And all it is is a damn cold.

Hi, Rola (though you're probably sleeping)! I enjoyed your pictures! Thanks for sending them! I agree that 1 son favors you more, and one favors your hubby. It's so lucky that both ways turned out so well! Good gene stock, I'd say. The caravan is bigger than I expected. I was picturing a pop-up trailer my cousins had that collapsed down to about 4 feet high, so there wasn't much room for anything. It looks big enough to have fun in!

Rolanda - for breakfast - a fresh apple struedel and fresh apple cider. (Sure hope you like apples.) These come from the Apple Haus - best we tasted, other than great grandma's.

Hello Rola - I've just been browsing through your latest photos and very nice they are too. You do have a lovely garden, puts my bit of dirt to shame.

Hello Rola, just flicked through your photo album. The front yard looks magnificent. Very tropical looking. It's amazing twin, hubby couldn't get over the fact that we have very similar gardens, tree ferns and the flowing garden edges! Doesn't surprise me in the least.
Brought along a bottle of bubbly to toast your marathon weeding efforts.

Hi Rola, your caravan looks very like our Compass van which we had to sell about a year ago. We had a lot of fun.

Rola, Your garden is lovely...and its good to see that Peter really helps out, not standing back pointing out where you may have missed something....like so many men. I really like your lavender...is that hard to grow and maintain? Will it do well in a potted plant garden? All of the flowers are beauties...how I wish I had the room for a garden like that!!!
