In Fiji and Bora Bora
Move your body and excerise
like you've never done befora
Okay, that's good; you're finished
Now you can take a break
You've finally burned enough calories
Have a seat for your birthday cake

I loved the "Dream" poem, Ray. I am in awe of how your mind works and the way you put your thoughts in writing! It certainly is a very special talent. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Hi Rayray! Your unknown vine looks like Abutilon 'Kentish Belle', Malvaceae - Chinese lanterns are Abutilons too. Hibiscus is another member of the Malvaceae family.

Thanks for the identification of the plant. You are correct. I now remember the name - one I am always forgetting. Also thanks for having the courage to take the number of messages on my page over the '666' threshold. No-one has posted for ages. I think they have been avoiding that iconic unlucky number (for months!)

Hi Rayray. Answered your question re the Tree Dahlias, but thought I'd better give it to you here as well because your question was asked in the middle of the night (my time)!
They grow on very long stems/canes. They need to be cut right down to ground level after flowering, but they grow very easily from cuttings. I first encountered them at an old friends place when we both lived in Willoughby (Sydney suburb) - she grew them every year!

You knew it was going to happen at some point. Once again, I take keyboard in hand for my pitiful attempt at a poem....
We know the op's a pain in the bum
But better late than never
Just think of the relief you're going to feel
when that hip pain's gone forever
We're sad and blue thinking of you
and missing you a lot
Get healed, get cured; come back as planned
to your crazy friends in Sudokuland!
(Yes, I have no shame!)

Ray, I'm glad to hear you are making good progress. A good friend of mine had both hips replaced, one twice. I know how hard it is to come back to normal, but I'm sure that will happen. Take care my virtual friend.
