hmmm, looks like I missed your birthday, hope it was a good one and the blessings follow you all the year through. Sorry I missed you in Denver. My attentions and presence have been elsewhere, one of these days life will be normal (is there such a thing?) and we'll cross non-cyber paths. Bummer since you were right here in Parker. Sorry to hear about Aunt Jo's passing.

Sarah Beth - Love your Oz quilt idea: The sepia tone on one side and "rainbow colors" on the other is brilliant!

I have SO many UFOs in various media, but mostly sewing for the home and for costumes for my kids who are now grown. (Waiting for grandkids...?)

Just within the last few months sometime I cut out a syndicated comic strip and put it on my project cabinet:

A woman walks into a knitting shop wearing a weird sweater. She tells the clerk that she promised herself she wouldn't buy any more yarn until she did something with all her unfinished projects. You stare at the sweater she's wearing and you realize that there's a portion of a hat, glove, sock, scarf, etc. all joined together!

The pull of the project store is strong. I walk into fabric stores and bolts of cloth start their seductive siren song until I have a symphony of projects all complete in my mind. I have a lot of "unfinished symphonies"!
