Debby, I really enjoyed the photos. Now that you have helped display Sheila's talent...you must make a tape with your group or alone so that we can enjoy your violin.....You tube's broadcast yourself stands ready and waiting.....What say you?

Hi Debbie just looked at your photos and very nice they are... Sheila is very talented. If you run out of snow I have plenty to give you. You're not far away so come on over and share the chocolate chip cookies you sent me - do you like green tea - or I'll make regular.

Since you like Peanuts, if you ever get the chance, there's a Charles Schulz museum right next to his ice skating rink in Santa Rosa. Well worth the effort if you ever get close. ... and then, there's me ... SA meetings are such a hoot.

Hi Debby, glad you liked my watercolors, yes it seems that Shiela and I could enjoy painting together. I really was happy to see it. But I am still wondering where was your violin hiding?

Hi Debby: I think of Sassafras tea being from deep South. Never tasted, sounds sweet and yum. Before I moved up to Wasaga Beach permanently, I sold my cottage (about 1/2 acre) full of trees. The new owner cut down Every tree including my small cedars, even my spirae (flower tree) - I was broken hearted, can you imagine - so I can appreciate how you must enjoy yours. Its sunny today 6C (about 40F) great day, too bad you're not a little closer you could come over and go for a walk with me. Spring is coming. Cheers.

Hi Debby,
I'm so glad that you sent me to your album in Flicker and what a lovely time I had there. Your children are beautiful and what a nice wedding it was. Your daughter Jenny is gorgeous! It was my first time to see a sandpiper crane. We do not have oriole around here, at least I never saw any. The picture taken at Bruce Mines are very familiar. The trillium is Ontario's flower.
Do you ride those beautiful bikes? I was at Mackinawk Island a lot time ago and recognized the suspended bridge. I would have missed a lot if I did not visit your beautiful album...love your flowers and love hummingbirds. I feed them in the summer. See you again soon and thank you for guiding me to the tour...Almost forgot about the violin! You have very interesting musical instruments there. I only play a bit of piano. My dad played the violin and many other instruments such as hawaïan guitare, banjo, mandoline, accordeon and more.

Hello Debby - a very belated visit and thank you for my very loooong ago birthday wishes and your lovely comment about my sunrise photo.
I love your photos and it's nice to put a face to a name of both you and Sheila.
I have family staying with me and find it's hard to spend very much time on the computer so I'm quickly visiting while I've got time by myself.

So glad you dropped by, Debby! I'm sure it's wet and dreary where you are as well ...
We're in our second day of kitchen renovations, so there are dusty footprints everywhere. Still, all is clipping along efficiently and I'm sure the end result will be worth the inconvenience. So far we're managing with a microwave, crockpot and barbecue, with our old(harvest gold!) fridge in our entrance hall. All very glamourous indeed. I hope you're doing well, and that you and those you love have a wonderful Easter!

Thanks for the update. I havn't been to church since the last pastor hit on me. That made four pastors in less then five years. I decided that I was in the wrong religion.

Hi Debby,

Thanks for the flowers! Happy Easter to you and your family, too. Don't get stuck in all this SNOW. I'm sending you a bunch of daffodils. I don't know how to forward them, so you can look at them on my flickr favorites: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65365954@N00/favorites/

Hi Debby: Thanks so much for dropping in, I enjoyed your visit and your good wishes. A very Happy Easter to you and yours as well. Looking back at my notes, you said Sassafras was like root beer... one of my favorite drinks, so now I know I'd like it. We still have a foot or more of snow on the flat but Spring is near... We're all looking forward to it coming soon. My best wishes go out to you. Cheers.

Hi Debby,

Lucky you! Only 4 inches. The table on our patio looked like an angel food cake, complete with hole in the middle (nearly 10 inches). But, by 6pm it was mostly gone! I don't mind snow so much when it goes away quickly. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the daffodils - they're my favorite, so I absolutely LOVE to share them. Have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Hello Debby - I thought I'd comment on your page about my photo as you might not get back to "hard" page.
We have a lot of red dirt in Australia, the further north you go, the redder and darker it is. I have had photos on of Wickham, where my oldest daughter lives, and it is very red up there, not the orange colour of the gravel (unsealed) road in the photo.
Cheers
Anne

Hello Debby - in the north/west and north there is a lot of iron ore in the ground which accounts for some of the colour. There are a lot of areas rich in the red dirt which makes a lovely contrast with the low green shrubbery and clear blue sky which can be found in some of the deserts and dryer regions. Like yours, ours is a land of contrasts. I hope perhaps one day you can get to see our lovely country.
Cheers
Anne

Hi, Debby!

I just saw your comment in SA4 regarding your taking your mother to the Mayo Clinic in a week or two. Will you be in Jacksonville long? JAX is only about 75 miles from St. Simons, so maybe we could get together. I'll be even closer to Jacksonville from April 6 through the 10th because I'll be at Fernandina Beach, FL for the Bausch & Lomb tennis tournament. I know you'll be busy with your Mom, but if there's any chance we could meet up, that would be great. In any case, I hope things go well for your mother at Mayo. It's a great hospital. My husband had major surgery there shortly after we moved south from Richmond, and he got superb care.

Debby,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It is a small world knowing someone from my neck of the woods, but I have to plead ignorance, I do not know what a DIL is?

BTW, what part of Pittsburgh?

Debby,
Thanks for the posting and DIL definition. Wow, your son and daughter in law are close. I currently live in Penn Hills, but grew up in Carrick which is right outside the city. I bet your DIL has heard of both. Hope you make it to visit sometime soon!

Hi Debby,

How are you? I have news of spring to report: the grackles and robins are back! I was even privy to a grackle's mating dance. Exciting, if you like birds...
I missed reading the pages for a few days, and now I'm noticing that several people, including you, have chairs for their avatars. What's the story, and can I play?

Hope you're well,
Jenn
