Hi Fiona, Thank you for the visit, hope you had a good Mothers Day. Your picture above is great, I read your husband took it. Is he a professional photographer?
Where do you live in France, I don't remember if I ever was told. I spent 2 weeks in France in January. Traveled from Calais to Le Mont Saint Michel, then to Paris and south into Switzerland. Several years ago we came out of Spain some where around Bayonne and traveled across France, I remember Pau, Lourdes, Foix then through Andorra back into Spain. You live in a beautiful country.
I would love to be able to go to the British Bash, but not possible at this time.

Hi Fiona, I only wish I could go on Friday. If it had been any other day I would be there like a shot.
As I said I'm going to Canada on Tuesday for three weeks. I haven't even started to pack yet.We have a BBQ to go to Saturday (will be an all day affair)Then Sunday I have to take Koyaa (parrot) to my brothers for him to look after. Which leaves me not very long to get work up to date and then there is the housework, washing and ironing to do.
I promise that the next get together I will be there.
Enjoy yourselves and don't do aything I wouldn't do!!

Hi Fiona got your message on my page, yeah just wish it was my front porch, actualy it was a resort in Jamaica that we went to in March of this year, great resort and wonderful weather in March, trying to get away from the snow here in Utah.

Oh Fiona, we had a ball. Gath and Kym are just the most beautiful people. Everywhere we went, they were greeted with such warmth. We went to some very nice, and some very interesting venues and the chat between the sudokuists was natural. It's the middle of winter here but no-one felt the cold. I parted ways at 1am, too old to party any later than that! You were right, it is fun to do new things and especially to meet new people. Felt like I'd known them for ages.
And your bash. Please tell me the goss. You girls look like you are related. It was quite freaky to see the photos.

Today is also my dad's birthday. I wish so much I could be there to give him a great big birthday hug. He lives about 1500 Miles from me. It takes about 24 hours to drive it.

Hi Fiona, I am well thank you - and staggering along towards my own birthday next week.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to UK, it sounds like a great deal of fun was had by all.
We are in the middle of planning our own visit to UK a little later in the year. We are going to pay the airfares today and that will make a sizeable dent in the Visa Card. We plan to have fun - apart from attending Anne's mother's funeral in Wales - and will be visiting Hong Kong on the way over and Amsterdam and Darmstadt in Germany on the way home, I have nephews/nieces in Hong Kong and Holland and my son and his new wife will be working in Darmstadt by the time we arrive there. We are both looking forward to our adventures.
