Hi Sue: Dropping in for a moment to wish you and your family a Happy Easter. Spring has arrived but we still have snow - looks promising though, lots of sunshine today and I'm sure the flowers are anxiously waiting to poke their heads up through the snow. I hope you have a great day, my best wishes go out to you. Cheers.

Hi, Sue. I've been enjoying your pics for some time now. Really good pics, of course. I don't have the picture sizing thing under control yet.
I have some flowers trying to come out now, but not as many as you have. Thanks, Pat

Hi Sue -- Thanks for the welcome! I haven't really been here all that long - just joined last week. Your photos are stunning! Are you the Sue that has put such wonderful pics up on the puzzles that say Sue-OK? (DUH!) I just figured that out. You are a talented photographer! Thanks for sharing your pics!

Hi Sue, thanks for stopping by. We did drive up to Morro Bay on Wed., our rain day, and walked through some of the shops. We had lunch there and then came back to Pismo. I lived in Santa Cruz, up the coast and spent a lot of time riding up and down Hwy 1 on our motorcycle. But, we usually just passed by Morro Bay and the rock. It was fun to explore. One last day of sticky buns ... My pants won't fit if we stay here a couple more days. We already have three days of dinners, lunches and one brunch with friends planned in Santa Cruz. After that, I won't need the motorhome because I will be able to roll home. When did you leave here or did you just visit??

Sue, I just read that you are off to the doctors for your final check-up. I am so pleased for you. It has been as long road to hoe. I hope you have found relief and from now on, you are able to get on with the job of traveling!
All the very best of wishes,
take care,
Gail

Sue ... To bad I didn't know all that on Wed. Would have been fun to walk in off the street and say that Sue and Harry said Hi. Small world.

Wonderful photos in your gallery, Sue. I've just noticed you asked a question under one of my pictures! Sorry, for not responding earlier. You asked whether there was a road behind the river house & if we lived there. There's no road you have to get in by boat (about 10 mins from the nearest boat ramp). My husband walked (bush bashed!) in once took him over 3 hours! He was scratched & tired , the dog was totally exhausted! we don't live there at the moment just go up most weekends. It's 30mins by car, towing the boat from our house & 10mins in the boat. Traffic getting up the highway & at the ramp can extend this! we're having house plans drawn at the moment & will be knocking down & rebuilding when these go through Council. Then we'll be moving and living there!!!!!!!!!!!

Just stopped by for another visit. Your gallery looks like spring personified! Your deep purple/violet day lily that was on tough puzzle today is gorgeous! Is it in your garden?
Hope the storms have passed, but don't send them our way!

I'm going to northern Italy in October (Milan, Verona, Venice & Lakes Maggiore, Como, Garda). I'm also going with a sister-city group to Wales with side trip to Edinburgh in Sept. I'll have just about enough time to get the laundry done, say hello to my cats and get used to the time change between trips!

Hi Sue, I want to thank you for your birthday greeting. I just joined, but have enjoyed this site for years. Actually, my birthday is November 4th. I'm not sure where Gath came up with April 10th, but it did make for a very special day. The timing was perfect. I guess even mistakes sometimes happen for good reasons. I sooooo needed a smile. Again, thank you for taking the time to send me a special birthday wish. Sudoku forever, Margot

Hello Sue, and thank you for your kind wishes on my birthday! I did have a lovely day even though I had to work it! They gave me a bithday morning tea, with party pies even, and it was lovely to open my email and see all my wonderful messages! We had had my family party on the day before as my son came home for the weekend.

Have just been looking at some of you pics, and you have a very fine eye!! Hope you are well now and ready to be on the road again!! Thanks once more, Bluey!

Hi Sue, thank you for visiting my page. Addison is my granddaughter. I am sorry that I didn't write that on the photo as the name "Addison" could be a boy's name. Addison's older sister has a boy's name as well. It is Payton and it means Peter. My daughter-in-law, Charmaine, likes unusaual names.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for visiting! Now I'm visiting you! Shiela & I had a lovely, if brief, visit the other day. Thanks for your kind words about my cute family. I had to say they're growing fast because I can't seem to keep up with them with the camera. It seems like I just get photos taken & uploaded, and they've "outgrown" them again. Have a lovely day!

Hi All, Hubby is a diabetic, in 2005 he had a diabetic ulcer (sore) on the bottom of his right big toe. It took all of 2005 & part of 2006 to get the ulcer healed. About a month ago he had what looked like a blood blister in the same place the ulcer had been. We went back to the doctor who treated his toe, she did minor surgery on his toe, everything was looking good. On Sunday morning before breakfast his toe was bleeding, we spent all day at the emergency room here in town, they had no idea what to do with him, so we transfered him to the Tulsa hospital where his doctor is. No one is sure why it happened but the old wound exploded, doctor explained it like it was a volcano exploding. The uncer in the bottom of the toe is as bad or worse than it was in 2005, and there is other damage to his toe. He has a staff infection but no bone infection. Will be in the hospital until the infection is cleared, maybe will come home on Friday. Thankfully I am doing good after my back surgery and am now able to take care of him.
Will continue to post here on his condition.

Well, you had already answered. Oh, dear, Sue. I am so sorry to hear of your husband's travails. Am glad you have moved him to Tulsa, and I do hope he can stay until it is safe. What do they do for staph infection? Although the hospital may be where he got the infection in the first place. Prayers are with you, dear girl. Take care of yourself as well as your guy.

Been called Debby twice now ... confusion somewhere, but it's me, Sue! Thanks for your visit and your good wishes. (If you don't mind my asking, how long has your MIL had her condition, and how's she doing now?) I'm off to a low vision specialist today, after having been given very little information by my regular eye doctor. We'll see what this visit brings. Thanks again for the prayers--I've always found that they help!

Hi Sue: Thanks for your note. Well you certainly Have done some travelling. Was either you Dad or Husband in the Services or a Diplomat... that's often how one gets to more around so much. I was with an Airline for 30 years (in the offices) and did get to do some travelling as well, not nearly what you have done though. My favorite place for beauty was Norway. Our Canadian Rockies are beautiful, a beautiful scene... then a little further on another beautiful scene, etc, etc., where in Norway the scenery is continuous and the Fiords are magnificent. My favorite place to play (spent a lot of time there in my younger days) is the Caribbean - Nassau, Antigua, but mostly Barbados - island of the happy smiling people (as the song says). Have done very little travelling lately - I guess the sand sifted out of my shoes... but seeing everyone's fabulous pictures and hearing about the places makes me think maybe its time again... Well, thanks again Sue - and your flowers are gorgeous - and to think that they are all yours. When you're not travelling you must spend a lot of time in your gargen(s). Hope you make it to China, many of my friends have and I love to hear their stories. Africa as well, yes, wouldn't a safari be grand. And I'd love to go "Down Under" these pictures make me thirsty for it, but its such a Looong trip... Well take care, happy spring... Cheryl

Sue, I have just come back to read why hubby is in the hospital. I expect, having a staph infection, he will be in there for a while. I am so pleased your back surgery was a success, I am sure that makes the travel a bit easier for you.
My best wishes to your hubby for his recovery.
Please take care and stay safe in your travels,
Gail
