Hi Sue!!! Yes we have some hummers, but not very many. I just hung out two more feeders before I sat down. I saw an Oriole over the week-end, so I hung my Oriole feeder and one other hummingbird feeder. They both will eat on each others feeders. They are so silly!

I don't know how old your son is, but it is a tuff world out there today. We have friends, whose son is in his 30's and just lost his job. He is moving back home to get back on his feet again. He is a college graduate. I wish all the best to your son.

It is chilly here today. (54 deg.) They say it will be a warm week-end for the Memorial Day parade. We hope so! We always go to support all the Veterans.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you Sue for making my birthday a special one.
Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
My Husband and sons took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.

Thanks for submitting that lovely photo of the sun breaking through after the rain. Did you take it with digital or film? Also, thanks for visiting my page and leaving the lilies. I made and loaded a Plum avatar. I feel like I belong now. I'm bringing you a platter of pierogi filled with farmer's cheese and Plums, lightly crisped in butter and topped with a dollup of sour cream, a very satisfying luncheon as it's noon as I post.

Sue...I think I'm helpless...lol. I know better, but it does get frustrating when it seems so easy....I have lots of questions and will try to remember them when you get back...Where are you going? Aging minds tend to forget details unless they are involved...

Got carried away by beauty and also forgot to say that the purple iris is the official flowers of the Province of Quebec, in Canada, where I come from. ... and you have so many beautiful one...Thanks for sharing them.

Hi, Sue! I just got back from a 3-day "girls' getaway" to St. Augustine, and I want to thank you for introducing me to Columbia Restaurant. I'd been to the one in Ybor City (Tampa) but didn't even know there was one in St. Augustine until I saw you picture last year. We had lunch there Wednesday and enjoyed it immensely! Their mojitos are the best I've tasted in a long time!!! Thanks!!!

Hi, Sue! I will definitely get you some pralines next time I'm in St. Augustine. I get down to JAX about 4 or 5 times a year, and St. Augustine isn't that much farther, so I'll make a point to get down there. I'll be wanting to pick up some more cinnamon cookies from the Spanish bakery while I'm there! I brought some home, and my hubby and I ate them all in 2 days! I might get to Savannah before I get back to St. Augustine, so perhaps there's a Savannah Sweets there, too. In any event, I will find a way to get some to you!

Sue - In case you hadn't searched, Savannah Sweets has a website: http://www.savannahsweets.com/cgi-bin/ws20/ws20_041481/main/storefront.cgi

After I pulled this up, I realized that I'd been in their Savannah store. A friend from Minneapolis visited a couple of years ago, and we made a point of going to that store while we were in Savannah because she loved their candy!

Sue, the Delta Queen has been sailing up and down the Mississippi (& adjoining rivers) since the 70s. I wasn't aware it was based in Memphis, but maybe. Again this year, congress is considering not giving it another extension to allow it to continue over night cruises, and might restrict it to just day trips, or worse. Sad if it happens.

Hi Sue, many thanks for your birthday wishes - I think that Cancerians are just the best and I see that you agree. I am not aware of helping you much with your photography but I have noticed how much you have improved over the months. Some of the photos you submitted are magnificent. Keep up the good work.

to you Sue, Sending wishes for a special day to enjoy -- enjoying the beauty of your yard -- I was able to get some flowers in my yard this summer that grew hidden among the daisies - so they didn't become rabbit food this summer. What a special treat for me. Take Care and once again Happy Birthday to you, Mary
