Hi Sue! Thank you so much for visiting me! Had a greeeaaattt day! Had over 20 people for dinner and after we ate my younger son who lives in North Carolina called. We went on loudspeaker so that all of us could talk to him at once! Chaotic but we had soooo much to say!

We're busy this weekend, cleaning both our house and Mom's; we're foolish enough to be hosting a progressive euchre party next Saturday, which means not only doing a major clean-up, but putting up the Christmas decorations as well. It will get done somehow!

Hi Sue, sorry for responding so late but things really got hectic for last couple of months. Got so involved in settling my younger daughter that I was in virtual spin and picture was quite hazy. It seems to be getting clearer now and hopefully she will be settled soon.

Hi Sue - I am glad to see you are not in the dark. My sister, in the Chicago area, has seen news through her cable station of the terrible ice down your way. She has seen clips showing how it has "snapped" trees. I hope you and your family will be safe.

Hello Sue - We have rain today and our road has turned to ice. We live on a country dirt road. Our driveway is about 3/4 mile from the main paved road. We have a long driveway also. It is about 800 feet. When it rains like this, it usually ices over also. We burn wood in the winter and have a lot of ashes. My husband has "ashed" the driveway once this year. We have our own well, so when the power goes out, we lose our water too! I would much rather get a foot of snow!

Oh Sue! I thought of you when I saw the weather report this morning! We may be on the north end of that storm tomorrow. They don't really know for sure yet. It depends which direction it decides to take. My sister was suppose to come in from Chicago today, but her husband plows snow and has people depending on him. Duty comes first! I hope you don't get it too bad, but I kind of think you will be in the middle of it! Hang in there!

We have a hill in our back yard. When the kids were young, they could get a start on the hill and sled just about to the end of the drive-way!
