One of the songs we played for my mother was 'On the Wings of a Snow White Dove'. When my sisters were with her just before she passed, my oldest one wanted to sing something for Mum as she always loved a sing-a-long. It was the first thing that popped into her head so they serenaded Mum with it. I was able to get a lovely recording of it to use at the funeral and when it played, my sisters and I sang along with gusto. It was a very spontaneous response and many have told us since that it is the first time they have ever heard singing at a funeral and that it was so heartfelt.

Hi Glenn, I just read about your sad loss, I'm so sorry and know how much you will all miss your Dad. I don't know if you remember but we had a short conversation about how similiar our fathers conditions seem to be, unfortunately Dad died not long after that in August 2007. You and your family are in my thoughts at this sad time ♥

There are three "Crabby Bills" in the Tampa bay area, all of them on Gulf Blvd. The one in the photo is about 5000 Gulf Blvd in St. Pete Beach, one the Gulf Side of the street. The northernmost Crabby Bills is in Clearwater Beach where the Gulf-to-Bay Blvd Causeway hits the CB traffic circle. The third one is in about the middle between them, I think it is in either Indian Shores or Indian Rocks Beach.
The one in St. Pete Beach is the most fun IMHO.

Hello Glenn, and please give my congratulations to Robyn, it sounds very exciting for her. It hardly seems any time since you were taking her up to start her course. It is very gratifying when they get through and are rewarded for all that hard work, especially when it is in something that they want so much. I will certainly keep an eye out on her site.

My thoughts are with you. My husband had open heart surgery a few years ago, it went very well, and I wish you the same.
And then I wish to thank you for the link to Santa and the reindeers.
There is something strange about this, because it doesn't happen always. But from time to time the third reindeer from the left says "Jag är så snäll". Which in Swedish means "I'm so nice". A very unexpected utterance. Makes me giggle every time.
