Didn't realize I was going to score a top of the page comment, too! The excitement is almost more than I can bear. I've been running around all day today so just now found the little party group you left on my page - 14 various smiley faces plus a pig & a jack o'lantern. They'll have to carry on without me as I've got lots to do this evening. Leaving in the morning to go visit my Orlando daughter & family. Our oldest granddaughter is playing in her first middle school band concert tomorrrow night. Should be fun. See you in a couple days.

Hello Gail - thank you for the birthday wishes for my grand daughter. Jaimee had her 7th birthday yesterday and Kirilee was 11 last Monday, so I'm not sure which one you are referring to, but thank you all the same. And Ned, one of my grandsons, is 9 this Sunday.
They are nearly all around May and June so they keep me broke.
Cheers!
Anne

TAG! YOU'RE IT! (See Angie's game below - also posted on page one of 'easy'):

TAG YOU ARE IT!… is back

Ok.. Remember late last year we all played Tag, and unfortunately we lost all those posts due to the big Site Crash. So here we go again…

Rules: you have to post on here what your responses are.
You must tag 2 people (post on site who you have tagged)
You must post on their pages that they have been tagged,
(Please try and not tag anyone already tagged)

Answer the following questions:

Name the song you danced to and sang to in front of the mirror, using your hairbrush as a microphone. And did you ever get caught doing it?

How old were you when you had your first “crush” and who was it?

What was your most embarrassing, clothing experience?

Have you ever been to someone’s house for dinner and forced yourself to “enjoy” a very awful meal? What was it?

Thank you 'dearest twin' for making my birthday a special one.
Thanks for the various messages on my page, Easy, SA, Email, msn, mobile phone...
Thanks for the 'Chenin Blanc', the Choc Mud Birthday Cake, Bouquet of Camellias ...
Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
My Husband and sons took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.

I can't see you jumping but I think I can feel the floor bouncing! Do you want all hot food - I am very famous for my chicken sandwiches, or I could make a cake or a cheese platter. Casseroles are not my specialty, just ask my children.

Gail,
Thanks for the welcome and the very first authentic Aussie "G'day" I've ever received in my life. Would love to immerse myself in about a year's worth of "G'day"s and enjoy Down Under for a good long spell. But I do sudoku instead...May 21, 2008 was the first Tough puzzle I did completely on my own so I celebrated by becoming a member.
I'm passing around a platter of farmer's cheese and plum pierogi, lightly crisped in real butter and topped with sour cream. Have some while I comment on your photos -- love cats, but we're down to only one named Percy, named for the Scarlet Pimpernel played by Anthony Andrews opposite Jane Seymour. Love costumes, have made medieval and renaissance plus others, now working on Jane Austen style Regency -- or, in US history, Federalist era/Dolley Madison dress: "Oh, Say Can You See?".

Hello Gail - Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it. I helped my friend address thank you notes yesterday. We cried, we talked, we laughed. All in all, it was a good day. It is always a good day when you spend it with a friend.

Hi Gail,
thanks for your kind comments-- yes-- graduations are complete and the oldest daughter (who grad from graduate school) has accepted a job in Washington DC-- a ways from home, but where she wants to be with her fiancee. Our son will start grad school in the fall. The new job is going well-- I think I am mastering the documentation program fairly well-- so they are telling me-- and feeling more comfortable with it. I am not as speedy as I would like, but I know that will come with time. I enjoy the patients, although I do miss my "little people" (I used to work with kids under 3)-- but overall the job setting is a much better place for me to be so all in all a good decision I think.....
Have a good day,

Oh my gosh!!!! I had about 22 messages in my inbox today just from Sudoku friends wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you so much for all of your kind thoughts and wishes especially when I haven't been around for so long. It has been a wonderful day and a lovely weekend. Rick and I went away to a romantic chalet at Springbrook with an open fireplace and we went bushwalking etc. I have uploaded a photo of Kiarah and some others onto 'my page'. Photos taken 26th May 2008. Kiarah is just about 18 months old now and still gorgeous hahaha....

Hi Gail,
I just thought you would like to know that Anne and I are planning to come down to Melbourne again for the second weekend in June for my brother's 70th birthday party on 13th June. Dunno much about our travel plans at the moment but I'll let you know. I'm afraid we won't be bringing our wonderful motorhome this time.

Gail, thanks for your kind invitation. I would love to have a cuppa with you. Our plans for Melbourne are a bit wobbly right now, I have only two engagements at the moment, my brother's birthday celebrations on 13th and a meeting with Elizabeth/Portarlington in Dandenong on Saturday for lunch. I doubt we will be leaving on Sunday so there may be time for a drive in the hills or something.

As you know, we leave tomorrow for a week away, back on Saturday(?). We then leave for Melbourne on Wednesday 11th - so there is a bit of a gap for a few days while we get organised. I'll be in touch.

Thanks again, I'll be in touch. Cheers, Ian

Hi Gail, yes that was our Carly and Molly. Garden's finished and I have got my outfit for my son's wedding. We had Carly's 21st last night, so I'm sighing a big "phew" that that's over. House is almost back to normal, but clean again. Now I can starting thinking about Bali - heading off again in 3 weeks and 6 days, but who's counting. I'm glad it's a long weekend, I'm feeling shattered. Will try to upload some pics of the garden later today - after my nap!!

How about you? All well with you and yours I hope. I still drop in and read the comments from time to time, but I'm afraid I just seem to be getting busier as I get older. Nevertheless I try to keep up with what's happening in Sudokuland.
Take care and thanks for dropping by.
