Being the weekend here, we have the outdoor wood stove going, as usual.

About the tough ones, or perhaps they are on the hard too, when the helpful people post path's that read "Start 22 => UP 26" do you know what this means? I've managed to get some help from the fc they mention but i think without that starter clue I just get stuck ...

Thanks Gail for the tips. I finally got it, what the start thing means, searched this site hi and low for past 1/2 hour! It was in an early proof. Yes they are geniuses ... but then you msut be too if you're solving the toughs w/out the help of the paths! Man its late, my hubby will shoot me in the morn! night night

Hi Gail! Once again I've kept you waiting! :( We are in the middle of being renovated, so I spend most days locked in the back room (with the dog) - our computers have all been disconnected :0! But now I'm back. Yes it would be lovely to meet up with you - but it will have to wait a little while, as I have builders coming and going at odd times and I never know who's turning up next. Aww Shucks!! You say the nicest things. I have always thought that my kids are gorgeous, but freely admit that I am a tad biased!!

Now, with regards to perhaps knowing me ... I didn't grow up in Adelaide, I came here from Sydney, but was born in England. I did most of my high schooling in Sydney, however, so it's probably not from school. My husband used to work out near where you live (for Davids as it was then, now it's IGA). If you played racquetball, then yes, we would have either played against or in tournaments together, I played for many years and was very involved in the running etc for quite a while when the children were young. Bill works in security and for quite a while was in retail security and had a number of ladies working for him, so maybe it was from that? (You're not from Port Augusta are you? Bill is.) That's all I can think of as possibilities ... any bells ringing?

Hello there, Gail, my friend! Right now I could post a lovely photo of a dishwasher and oven in my living room ... Chaos continues to reign here, and I'm sure there will be plenty of wine with dinner tonight! Photos will come, hopefully in two weeks when we'll actually be able to use this kitchen (if we remember how ...)

Hi, Gail--yes, I thought the Sandwich Generation name was quite appropriate!

Graduation was one of the hottest days of the week, but we enjoyed dinner at a local Japanese restaurant afterwards.

Mom is doing well in physical therapy at a skilled nursing facility nearby. I'm off to go visit her, bearing homemade chicken curry over rice as a special treat today.

Hello Gail - I went strolling through your pictures. That was fun! How are things down your way? Are you having a nice Winter or is it still officially Autumn? We had about one week of HOT weather, but it has been cooler than normal for us. (That is okay with me!) We don't have air-conditioning and it has been very comfortable to sleep at night. Gail, I assure you two months counts - two months is much much older than me and that matters!! Funny really, 40 years ago I'd have been envious of you being a couple of months older, but today, 40 years on, no way!!! A wrinkle a month I say!!
