Hi and good morning Mymare, May I call you Mary? Thank you so much for your warm welcome. I've been an occasional visitor to this, probably my favourite internet site, for many years. Love the friendly chatter and wisecracks on 'Easy', and hope to 'put my oar in' from time to time. It's going to take a while for me to learn my way around, but in the meantime this morning, the rain has stopped, the temp is 25C and the sun is coming out, so please relax on my front balcony looking out over the park. A café au lait and a slice of caramel-topped chocolate tart from my neighbourhood patisserie is waiting to greet you.

Mary, my new little wee one turned 5 weeks old yesterday and I was going down memory lane on my page. I had read all the well wishes after I got home, but guess I was still drug hung over and did not catch a bunch of them.
You wrote, that your neighbor had also given birth the same day as I did and her baby was due July 6. That was actually Morgan's due date too, or one of them. I am starting to believe that doctors move the actual due date further away, so those last weeks might be do-able.

Hello Mary! - Thank you for the Birthday Greetings! Uhhhhh - No orders for heat waves here!!!! I have too much "north" in me! I have thoroughly enjoyed this summer's cooler temperatures. We do not have air in our home. We do have an attic fan, but when it gets so warm, it doesn't help too much! Thanks for thinking of me!

Thanks Mary for your very kind birthday wishes. How about we trade weather. It's rained here day for the last fortnight. We're okay in Hobart but there is flooding all down the east coast of Tasmania and it has been parched and barren there for the last 3 or 4 years. Thanks again.

Hi Mary, thanks for your welcome on my page. I am not new to the site, just new in joining. It has been my favorite place for quite a while. I am trying to move from "Hard" to "Tough", but am not familiar enough yet with the notations for the proofs.

Mary - I just read Plum's post on "easy" and was thrilled to find out that you and your sister will be joining us at "MichiganFest". I was hoping to have a chance to get together with you when I was in the Chicago area, but I just hadn't been able to figure out how! I'm so glad you'll be making the trip to Battle Creek. Debby is the only one in the group that I've already met, and she is a peach! Can't wait to meet the rest of the Midwesterners! See you soon!

I wondered if they still have Last Fling Weekend in Naperville downtown?
I remember going to Last Fling one year and it being 85 around 2PM, and nearly 50 as the festival came to an end, the wind had turned and come from the northwest. I don't miss the cold weather up there at at!
Here in Florida it will be 90 everyday for another 6 weeks. Thats a bit hot, but its great after dark.
My son, born at Edward Hospital in July 1995, started High School here in Jupiter last week. Where does the time go!?!?!

I tried to join over a week ago, but apparently botched the sign-up, and you greeted me there too, but I couldn't log in and finally tried again with slightly different information. I've actually been coming in off and on for years, and enjoy the mental exercise very much. I knew I had to sign up after seeing a picture Wilodene had taken from just a couple of miles from my house. Now that I can get in, I have submitted a picture already.
