Hi Greg,

Thanks for dropping by. And, yes, at my age I really don't even need one birthday. I just sort of tripped today and Linda is going to take me to dinner tomorrow night. We are home for once in many years. We are usually traveling to some motorcycle rally selling our goodies.

Thanks Greg, I have been a lurker for a long time - before the time you had to register in order to comment. You used to look like a Royal Mountie! When I have time I'll get myself an avatar. I am amazed at the response to my registration - couldn't have been all that big a deal. Although I did have trouble posting, which Gath responded to right away. Still had trouble posting today, but Sudoku Lives! as the Italian footballers say. thanks again

Hi Greg
Haven't been on the site for awhile thanks for the birthday wishes earlier in May. We are heading to Canada/ Alaska on Saturday for one of those Rocky mountaineer and cruise holidays that lots of Australians tend to do. Can't wait it looks beautiful over there

for the warm welcome you just sent me, Greg. I feel that I already know you, from reading your comments every day on the jigsaw page. Your compliments on my artwork are very much appreciated, and your favorite is also my favorite, of all the paintings that I've ever done. Yes, I do have my own studio, built onto one end of our house. I do not have a gallery as such, but do exhibit in other galleries. For the past couple of years I have not been very active in the art world -- I guess I've semi-retired myself at the ripe old age of 60, LOL.

Your photography is amazing, and your comments are always entertaining. You're one of the people who make this site so pleasant to visit every day -- and the puzzles too, of course. Thanks again, and drop in any time.

Oh my gosh!!!! I had about 22 messages in my inbox today just from Sudoku friends wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you so much for all of your kind thoughts and wishes especially when I haven't been around for so long. It has been a wonderful day and a lovely weekend. Rick and I went away to a romantic chalet at Springbrook with an open fireplace and we went bushwalking etc. I have uploaded a photo of Kiarah and some others onto 'my page'. Photos taken 26th May 2008. Kiarah is just about 18 months old now and still gorgeous hahaha....

so much for the birthday wishes! I am stretching it out for all its worth! Since I was at Indy on my birthday I am finally getting together with all my family this coming weekend! But this sudokuland birthday celebration was the best!!! Made the "zero" on the end of my age a little easier to bear!
How's the poor moose doing? Is he still homeless in France? Or did he get to Kansas? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!

Bloody shame, too, CG. My twisted mind is already hoping to find a new scheme. These people need jolted out of their lethargy and so far am at a loss as to what it takes. The attention span around here is about as long as that little fish's in that cartoon movie a couple of years back. Baz was on to something. He just didn't have the diplomacy to get it across without ruffling the wrong feathers. You might want to delete this shortly, some sensative feathers might feel piqued if they stumble upon this.

My goodness. 50 pages! You are a friendly chap. I'm sure you've received lotsa gifts from visitors. It's lunch time. Have some pierogi filled with Plum and farmer's cheese, lightly crisped in butter with a dollup of sour cream. You had me googling beavertail pastry. Turns out it's like the elephant ears we have around here. Do elephants not grow ears in Ottawa? How clever. Beaver tails. How appropriate to Canada. Thank you. Delicious. One of my sources tell me that they're made with cracked wheat. Always or sometimes? (I like the Everly Bros. singing to me while I type.)

Hi Greg, You may notice I do not even know how to get an avatar, let alone post pictures! I am relatively computer-challenged. Right now am sorting all the old fashioned photographs (remember those shiney flat things?) to put in albums. Don't have photos since 2005 - now they are all on discs. So what to do? I will have to get a geek! Shosho told me to get a teenager!

I can remember the Everly Brothers but when these hits came out I was still in elementary school and wasn't too aware of rock and roll. But I was around! Does that count?

Greg, You are SO nice! Thanks for the info - right in front of my face! Like so many computer things it only takes knowing the right keys and then it is simple. I am almost done with the flat photos. Now it is getting hot down here and I don't go outside and I will do some of these things! Don't hold your breath but someday...I will have an avatar and you will see a picture on my site!!!

Hi
Thank you for the welcome on my page.
Thought I should visit yours!!!
There are just not enough hours in the day to get around to everyones pages but the ones I have been to are great.
I especially like all the photos.
No 'Tea and Treasures' is not my business but I wish it was.
It was lovely there, I went for Mothers Day High Tea.
I will now look at your photos.
Gosh you are up to page 50 in here.
Is that some kind of record?
A popular person indeed.
Have a great day

Hi Greg..my husbands name is Greg also.
Having the twins is already confusing.I often get the boys mixed up & they say Oh Grandma.
The girls are even more alike but as they get older and I see more of them maybe it will get easier.
So you have a daughter ? Bet she is delightful

Thanks for the note, CG! We had a wonderful time. As you will discover, even though one is retired, one still takes (and needs) vacations!!! The Outer Banks was always a favorite place for us, so hopefully, we'll get back there every so often - even though we live in a semi-tropical paradise!!!
