Thank you for your support while I have been ill. I never expected such a response from this site, everyone’s concern and caring has overwhelmed me. I can only say that it is the genuine people here who make this a very unique place to share our hopes, dreams, ups and downs. So thank you for being there, even though you have your own troubles.

Hi cp. I just wanted you to know that you have been on my mind a lot lately. I believe you said your mum's funeral was to be on Thursday. I know these past few weeks have been difficult for you. It has brought back to me all the painful memories of when my own mother died back in 2001. That was the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life. I decided to go & visit her grave on Mother's Day. Rob & our youngest daughter who lives near us went with me. I can tell you that you will never get over missing your mother, but the sadness does get a little more bearable day by day. The love between you will remain forever. While she finds peace in heaven I hope that you will be at peace here on earth. God bless you both & all your family, too.

Oh CP thank you, thank you for making my b'day special! My heart goes out to you. One of these days I'm coming to Australia and would love to meet you. Your mum did a great job raising you!

Hello Cath - I'm glad everything turned out nice for your Mum's day. I'm sure you all did her proud and can look back on today with very fond memories of her and your wonderful life with her as your Mother.

CP, my family did the same thing after we buried my Mom. We brought out an album filled with pictures of her through the years. (Unfortunately, there were pics of me through the years also!) My kids and grandkids had a great time commenting on the "unbelievable" hair styles, clothing, etc. We all remembered fun times and shared memories. Some of the stories told were hilarious! A fitting family tribute to her. She would have loved it!
I'm glad your family was able to do the same thing. I know your Mom was looking down and laughing along with everyone

CP, just stopping by to let you know that we are still thinking of you now that the official things are over. Focus on the good times and happy memories of your Mum. Grieving takes time, but don't forget to set aside some "be good to yourself" time along the way. Hugs.

CP, I know your mum's funeral was an extremely difficult day for you, but it sounds as though you managed quite splendidly. Leave it to the young to bring levity to the day. Unfortunately, by experience, I can tell you there will be many more difficult days to come; but they get easier as you find yourself talking to her (and finally not expecting an answer). The things I saw that I wanted to tell her about were probably the most difficult But, you will get through. I know, because I have; and I believe you are much stronger than I.

CP....Just had to say for taking time out of your busy life, and wishing me a happy birthday despite all that is occupying you and yours...know how much its appreciated. I have been rewarded on this site with so much love and good will, much of it coming from you..so my friend..until you are better paid... Don't know how that translates in Aussie money...but its worth millions from the bottom of my heart.

CP - you are alway welcome to stop by my page, have some pie, watch a video, or chat. About the only person I haven't loss yet is my mother. She is the last immediate family member. However, I do have an SIL, cousins & a nephew.

Oh Cathy - I am so sorry to hear of your loss - I've been with my daughter and not on-site for this past month and didn't know til I got your message. It is so very tough to no longer have your mum to talk to, laugh with, cry with. I pray those good memories of her are overtaking the pain and sadness. My best to you and your family. Meredith

Hello Cath - a very big for your good wishes on the birth of my grandson, Bailey.
He sure is a beautiful looking baby and continues to gain weight and keep that lovely clear skin.

CP, We took the 2 older kids to see Phantom a couple of weeks ago and we thought it was a fantastic production. Anthony Warlow is amazing. It was Jacques' and Ariane's first taste of musical theatre and they loved it. Have fun.
