This was La Cañada Flintridge's 31st float in the parade (am a charter member). The first two years I was at June Lake for the holidays, the third year, I went down on the 31st and got hooked. Even though I moved up here 12 years ago, I have made the trip down to decorate about 7 of those years, so I figure I have about 24 floats I have worked on & last year you may recall I was there in spirit as I posted all the photos Helaine was sending. The video on my page was taken by her. The second "related" video was a telecast of the parade of our float. Glad you enjoyed it. It is like old home week going down - a reunion with people who have decorated for years & return like I, because we are hooked. Traditions die hard.

& a Happy New Year to you too. Sorry to take so long to respond. All we know for sure is that we'll fly to Sydney on April 5th (land the 7th) and fly back to San Francisco on May 5th. Where we go and what we do while we're in OZ has not been decided. I hope to meet as many Sudoku folks as possible.

No, I don't have a house or a yard, being an apartment dweller, but I like to get out and see scenery when I can, and there is lots to see not far from home. When I think I've found a nice shot, that will come out well on my digital camera, I'll grab it!
