Hello Jane! My heart slipped when I read your note! I don't know if we are going to be in Michigan in September. We have been trying to get to Virginia for the past several weeks. Whoa, that butterfly gets around!!! We have the Gulf one too! Ours love the passionfruit flowers. The vines are so ubiquitous so there are plenty of the fritillaries!

Jane, I am happy to say that I don't suffer from any respiratory ailments and a couple of hours after the photo was taken I was running around like a mad thing on the floor of our local gym.

It sure was eerie - a preview perhaps, of what the world looked like at the end of the Age of Dinosaurs.

Hello Jane - thanks for visiting my photo gallery and for your lovely comments about my latest photos.
I had a great ten day coach holiday and enjoyed the spectacular scenery of the north of Australia, especially the Bungle Bungle which are quite unique.
I met up with Fiona from N.T. in Darwin and we went out to tea and chatted all evening. It was a lovely time.
