Thanks so much for the information. I have learned so very much about this world of ours from our friends here. It really has opened my eyes up to the rest of our world and I am thiankful for hearing about the places that I may not get to visit in my lifetime. I feel very connected to places that before now did not even know existed bere in my little corner of the world.

Hi Bluey, I really appreciate the offer of accommodations on our possible trip to Australia, but you must remember that Katelyn is only 7yo and odds are she will change her mind several times in the next 5 years.

Barbara and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2002 and would really like to return some day, so if we are still doing Sudoku in 2013, and Katelyn still wants to go, maybe we can work something out.

Hello Bluey - I've been meaning to get around to visiting you but as usual, I'm a bit slack in doing so.
I'm glad to have been of service regarding the news item on the shark attack in Albany. I used to hear nearly all the latest news on the site when I was on here a lot more than I am these days. I'm still getting used to working full-time. Hell, the weekends go so damn quickly I feel as if I've just driven home from work on a Friday and turning the car straight around and driving back to work on a Monday morning.

Many sudoku friends from around the world coming to visit me and wishing me a Happy Birthday have overwhelmed me.
My Husband and sons took me out to dinner to a Chinese Restaurant, and on the Sunday, we had a delicious Roast Dinner at MIL’s.

Oh my gosh!!!! I had about 22 messages in my inbox today just from Sudoku friends wishing me a 'Happy Birthday'! Thank you so much for all of your kind thoughts and wishes especially when I haven't been around for so long. It has been a wonderful day and a lovely weekend. Rick and I went away to a romantic chalet at Springbrook with an open fireplace and we went bushwalking etc. I have uploaded a photo of Kiarah and some others onto 'my page'. Photos taken 26th May 2008. Kiarah is just about 18 months old now and still gorgeous hahaha....

Taking the time to say thank you for your message of love and support through the tough times with my mum, and her death. My heart has been lifted by the warmth and love shown to me here.

We had 7 deg here yesterday morning,which to us is VERY cold.They say it will stay around for a few days then warm up again.Now the rain has stopped,the days are beautiful with around 22 deg tops.Cairns would be a lot warmer as it is 14hrs further north.When are you travelling?Have a wonderful time with your daughter.Lots of potholes in the road after the rain & look out for the cane trains.
