Hi CynB! Now it's my turn to say thanks for the anniversary wishes YOU sent! Rob & I had a nice day together, but decided to wait for our official dinner celebration until July 1 when we will fly up to Michigan for a short stay there. We will fly into Grand Rapids & go to a special restaurant in Muskegon called the Sardine Room! Strange name, but they say it is VERY good. We'll be staying 3 nights at a B & B in Whitehall near where Rob's brother keeps his sailboat on Lake Michigan. On the 4th of July we'll stay on the boat & watch the fireworks over the lake. Should be a nice little getaway. We are lucky to have such a good life together.

Thank you CynB for your words of encouragement although with my two, argh! Just yesterday I lost track of my dad, he had forgotten about my taking him to the bank and I spent two hours of driving around looking for him! He was safe but from 10 to 2 I was frantic. Wasted time and a lot of gas!

Hey CynB!!! It's great to be back in LA! Thanks for visiting me and for your lovely comments! Aren't grandkids the greatest! They say grandchildren are God's reward for not doing away with your kids! There were times I was ready to do something drastic to my boys but now am glad I didn't! When they hit their twenties they became halfway decent!

Thank you for your Birthday Greetings. I guess 8/15 isn't considered a date - I probably should have used 15/8. That is the only reason I can figure that the notice did not appear. I had a wonderful time - the only problem was the 108° degree temp today & yesterday. Plenty of liquids. Enjoyed the concert tonight. Why not celebrate all weekend with concerts on Saturday & Sunday as well? Don't mind if I do!

Just wanted to comment on the Koala in your backyard, My understanding is that they are very territorial, and a koala out of his normal area may be sick, so I would be making that call sooner rather than later.
