A warm welcome from the Sunshine state of Oz!Cool

I was 'Linda from Qld ' but it was getting a bit confusing so many Linda's, so I decided to go for an alias.

I live in a small rural town north west of Brisbane.

You have an American 'Spell Check', Grasshopper!!!
The American 'gray' is spelled 'grey' in British English. I prefer 'grey' since I love British fiction. I have read so much British fiction that I am REALLY confused on the 'correct' spellings of many words: realised/realized, neighbourhood/neighborhood, colour/color, etc!

Linda, thank you for your comments on my wildfire photo yesterday. You expressed my thoughts perfectly. Because of the time difference, I didn't read it until today when we already have new photos displayed, but I did want you to know I appreciate your insight.

For the wonderfully warm birthday greeting. It is so fabulous to have sudoku-family from all over the world share in my birthday.

Linda, saw you made it home. I had a lovely time meeting you, just wish it could have been longer. Sorry to hear your closets were not finished, I know all about the contractor from h*ll, I hired him once.

Hi Linda, I have been thinking of you the last week or so and at last I have a little time to send you a note. I imagine you are over the jet lag by now and hopefully the bedroom is back in order. I was expecting to see pictures of your trip on your site. Did the camper arrive yet? I do hope all is well. Would love to hear from you. Hugs. Jackie

Hi again and I agree that you two must come again. WE both enjoyed your visit and your company very much. Do you like to fish? We can plan a couple of days of fishing. One on the Cumberland and one on the Tennesse. Come in the spring during Crappie season.. pronounced Croppie. there are some big fish in those rivers.. but the smaller ones are sure good eating! I will be in S. Australia in January and I am getting myself in a frame of mind to go get on the planae.. it will take some doing. Out weather willo be cold so that will help. I got my aussie money out last night and counted it .. not much left! Keep in touch. Jackie
