Thank you for your concern and kindness! I almost hate to tell you this, but....
My cat Tuxedo must have had one of his nine lives left!
Tuxedo had been in such pain that having him put down was the next step. BUT... He has had a reprieve and is doing much better! He is eating, drinking and walking around again. We are not sure what's really going on and it may still be cancer, but for now we have him and he seems his old self for the time being.
The vet's cancer prognosis was only an educated guess, since I refused to have Tux go through exploratory surgery at his age (15 years) to find out for sure. The vet had also given him antibiotics as a precaution so Tux may have had something else going on that the drug treated. OR maybe it's my superior cat care! (Ya, sure, Shiela!)

Kathy, Happy Birthday for yesterday - we are almost twins! Hope your day was as nice as mine has been, and may your year be full of happy things! (raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, etc.!) :)

Your photos are wonderful, Kathy! I chuckled at one of your stops, though. Did you ever play video games with your kids when they were young? Playing "Pitfall," I spent a LOT of time in the Lost City of Copan! I never even suspected that it was a real place!

I saw Louie in person in 1944. They kept the underage upstairs behind chicken wire, but we could hear and look down at the show.

As you probably know, we are at our younger daughter's home in Goodyear AZ for a couple of weeks. Things have been rather hectic this weekend, what with the grandkids and all. But, dinner is over and the kids are being readied for bed, and I found a few minutes to respond to your kind (?) comments on my pictures.

Yes, 'The Strip' was unusually quiet when I took that picture. And contrary to what Judy might think, I am not a snake... well, maybe just a little...

Oak Creek canyon IS fantastic, isn't it? We will be going to Prescott and Sedona next week. My three brothers (and their spouses) will be joining us for three nights at a B&B in Prescott. Hope to show them a lot of the central AZ scenery.

I looked at your gallery last week. Your pictures of Egypt, Chile and Central America were great. I've been to Panama a few times and Barbara and I cruised the Panama Canal a couple of years ago. Had stops in Costa Rica and Mexico, but 'there's so much to see, and so little time.'

I have had a very brief look at your photos and they are just superb and show off your trip very well. I am very envious as I hoped to do a lot of travel but it hasn't worked out that way.
